Mission: To provide Kings Cove members a safe, fun, welcoming, and competitive tennis experience by maintaining well-kept courts and encouraging team play.

1. GENERAL
a) The courts are open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM
b) The courts should be accessed at the main gate via key card
c) Proper tennis attire, including a shirt and non-marking tennis shoes, is required
d) No dogs or other pets are allowed on the courts
e) No activities besides tennis are allowed on the courts
f) No recreational equipment (bikes, skateboards, etc.) is allowed on the courts
g) No glass is allowed on the courts
h) No smoking is allowed on or around the courts
i) Show respect to all players, spectators, and neighbors, especially in the surrounding houses
j) Help keep the courts clean. Please empty the on-court trash cans into the larger trash cans for pick-up k) Use rollers only on wet courts and hang up when finished
l) Please follow proper tennis etiquette
m) Turn off lights when finished
n) Secure the gates when leaving
2. RESERVATIONS
a) Reservations can be made at www.reservemycourt.com. Review the Documents section of your payhoa.com account for registration instructions. Reservations with physical signs will not be honored
b) Only members may reserve courts
c) Members (up to two per family) may reserve one court per day for up to two hours
d) Members not present at the courts will forfeit reservations after 15 minutes
e) Reservation access will be suspended for resident members who aren’t current on HOA dues
f) Reservation access will be suspended for non-resident members who did not renew their membership by the deadline.
g) Players without a reservation must yield to members with reservations. Exception: Please allow a reasonable amount of time for scheduled league flex matches to complete
h) Cancel reservations on the website when your plans change. Failure to cancel reservations on the website may result in the suspension of reservation privileges
i) Reservations for longer events will be made at the discretion of the Tennis Committee
2. GUESTS
a) Guests are allowed to use the courts only if accompanied by a member
b) Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests c) Non-member residents of Kings Cove may not use the courts
3. LESSONS
a) To be eligible to teach on the Kings Cove courts, all professionals must:
i) Register with the Tennis Committee by name, telephone number, and address
ii) Be members of a professional tennis organization
iii) Show proof of insurance
b) Lessons are subject to the standard reservation rules unless part of a regularly scheduled league practice
c) Members may give lessons to other members and/or guests provided they comply with all sections of the rules
4. TEAM PLAY
a) Contact the Tennis Committee if you would like information on existing teams
b) New teams must be approved by the Tennis Committee
c) Captains are responsible for collecting and paying the non-member fee ($25 per non-member per season). This allows for participation in regularly scheduled team practices and matches
